I started blogging in September 2008, now almost 10 years! I opened my blog as one of the exercises for my Masters of New Media class at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. The blog was over some classwork, new innovations and personal observations in the Netherlands and Africa.
The blog has been clogged with different interests, ideas and subjects that are far apart. I have decided to run 3 blogs serving different interests and different audiences.
1. The Balunywa Blog
This blog will cater for social, political and economic articles through my eyes. It will feature articles written with a humorous angle. Some serious issues will be written about, but well as the content is serious, it will not be presented with the same seriousness!
I will be posting here observations of events occurring in Uganda, in Holland or otherwise things that I have noticed and have made an impression on me or raised questions or a strong reaction on my part including hilarious jokes, images and videos. You are free to respond to my postings, make comments, rejoinders, factual corrections, criticisms and additional information.
2. Balunywa Bytes Blog
Would any establishment be able to function without the Internet, software or a mobile phone? Technologies have dramatically changed how nearly all small and big organisations operate, and in many cases, they have leveled the playing field to make them more competitive with bigger enterprises.
This blog will specifically be recognising what’s new in technology and how the latest technology innovations can be leveraged for individuals and organisations.
I was use articles from Tech Crunch, Make Use Of.com, FunFunky.Com, New York Times and other leading technology news sites to enrich my blog.
I will continue posting here my Digital Culture news, Technology Updates, ICT news etc.
3. Dapper Sapiens Blog
This blog is about fashion and design, elegance and charm, dress code, etiquette, style, sophistication, class, grace and finesse. I will post here news about new trends, the catwalk, fashion police, designers and where to find the latest style in Kampala, London, New York, Amsterdam, Paris etc.
I will be sharing news from Pinterest and Antonio Centeno (antonio@realmenrealstyle.com). Antonio Centeno is the founder of RealMenRealStyle.com. He has created over 1,000 articles and videos on men's style, blogs over at the Art of Manliness, and is the author of the internet's best style eBook A Man's Guide To Timeless Style. Antonio has studied clothing design in London, Hong Kong, and Bangkok. He is a former US Marine with an MBA from UT Austin and a BA from Cornell College.
I will be noting here observations of events occurring in Uganda, in Holland or otherwise things that I have noticed and have made an impression on me or raised questions or a strong reaction on my part including hilarious jokes, images and videos. If you have suggestions for this blog, please contact me! You can, of course, also respond to my postings!
